Purpose:
This year’s FICR meeting will focus on examining green chemistry R&D activities at federal agencies. Green chemistry R&D is finding an expanding focus in the U.S. government. This venue will provide an opportunity for agency representatives to gain an understanding of green chemistry research and development activities within and across agencies, share their research and insights with others, and build valuable connections. The 2013 FICR meeting offers one day of programming to include plenary presentations from invited agency representatives, a keynote plenary from the American Chemical Society’s Green Chemistry Institute Director, an interactive panel for a dialogue on domestic and international issues, and closing special tours of NIST’s two unique user facilities: the NIST Center for Neutron Research and the NIST Center for Nanoscale Science and Technology. You have the option to attend the meeting via WEBINAR. There will be no charge for the Webinar, but Webinar attendees must reserve a Webinar-seat. Webinar attendees will only receive audio and a view of presenter’s slides.Agenda: Preparations for the meeting are well underway. We have an outstanding technical program planned and expect participants from many agencies. Please check the preliminary agenda.
