Fred Lehnhoff

Fred Lehnhoff joined NIST as BSD Division Chief in 2008. Prior to that, he spent twenty years at the Department of the Treasury's Financial Management Service, where he held several management and systems development positions supporting the Federal government's central accounting, payments, collections, and cash management functions. This included architecting, implementing, and providing customer service for several Government-wide systems with national and global scope. It also included roles as a business owner for Government-wide deposit processes, cash concentration, foreign currency accounting, and data architecture standards. While at Treasury, he was privileged to work with a broad spectrum of Federal agencies, the Federal Reserve, and State, Tribal, and foreign governments. Mr. Lehnhoff holds a Bachelors degree in Physics from Harvard University.
