Building Materials Research Software

Cement Hydration and Degradation Modeling Software
These models have come out of the HYPERCON: Prediction and Optimization of Concrete Performance research program and its predecessors.

Concrete Optimization Software Tool

COST (Concrete Optimization Software Tool) is an online design/analysis system to assist concrete producers, engineers and researchers in determining optimal mixture proportions for concrete.

eVCCTL Software
The educational version of the Virtual Cement and Concrete Testing Laboratory (eVCCTL) software provides a virtual testing laboratory environment that can be used by concrete scientists, engineers, and technologists to explore the properties of cement paste and concrete materials.

Computer Integrated Knowledge System for High Performance Concrete

The 4SIGHT computer program combines electro-diffusive transport, permeation, and chemical reaction to predict the ingress of external species dissolved in the aqueous solution that is in contact with the concrete. As species in solution reaction with the mineral phases within the microstructure (dissolution/precipitation), the porosity changes, thus changing the transport coefficient. The service life is defined as the time required for chlorides to reach a critical threshold concentration at the depth of the steel reinforcement
