boxes represent activities such as part design, measurement process
planning, machining process planning, measurement plan execution,
measurement results analysis. The arrows represent the information that
flows between these activities. Next to each arrow are the known standards
or specifications defining syntax and semantics (i.e., a language) for the
information on that particular interface.
