NIST Cloud Computing Forum & Workshop IX

The world that we live in today is significantly different than it was just a few years ago. The ability to create, store, and manipulate ever increasing amounts of data from cell phones, tablets and other devices continues to grow by leaps and bounds. We have also seen an explosion in the amount of networked cyber-physical devices that interact with their environment through sensing and actuation. Smart cities, smart buildings and driverless cars are in the crosshairs of this new world.

Our modern world is facilitated by cloud computing which empowers and seamlessly supports these technologies and enables future innovation.

This year, the NCCP Workshop & Forum is holding its 9th event on September 13-15, 2016 at NIST in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The theme of this year's workshop is "Cloud & the Interconnected World". This year we will be having a 2.5 day event in which we will discuss the roles of cloud computing in addressing the challenges of an interconnected world, and the necessary building blocks for the vision and standards that make an interconnected world possible.

Join your fellow colleagues at the NIST Cloud Computing Forum and Workshop IX to learn more how cloud computing contributes to these technologies and to hear from an array of influential government, industry and academic leaders.
