Images can be captured using ommand-shift-3, or some control panel such
as Capture. This is not a feature of MacLispix, but a Mac utility that takes
whatever is on the screen (less the cursor) and writes it to a pict file.
Uses for the capture utility include
- Saving an image of an intensity profile.
- Saving one or more images after scaling, pseudocoloring, arranging,
- Other utilities such as Adobe Photoshop, NIH Image, Powerpoint, can
be used to resize the captured images. This will generally make line plots
and text look bad to unreadable. If plots or the text is important in the
captured image, resize the image with MacLispix before capturing.
