The multivariate button makes a new button window for handling registered images, that is where corresponding pixels are from the same position in the sample, but represent different wavelengths, x-ray energies, chemical species, etc.

This window is wider than needed for the buttons as they initially appear in order to make room for longer image names in the x/red, y/green and z/blue buttons.

Axes - Make axes for the 2D CHI window. Shows ranges of image values.
