Widgets are special purpose utilities.
Load a widget into macLispix by loading (MLx -> Load Widget)
the appropriate .pfsl, or .lisp file.
The more developed widgets are controlled by a button window,
made by the More Buttons button.
Pressing this button shows a menu of the major widgets that have
been loaded. Most other widgets will add a menu to the menu bar,
or a menu item in the MLx menu.
The files are in the /maclispix/widgets folder. The .lisp files
are source code and the .pfsl files are compiled for Power Macs.
The source code files are for reference only.
Widget documentation
If you are using your local
help file, you must of course have the appropriate widget folder in your Widgets folder to be able to go to them by clicking.
- Blob Particle counting, sizing.
- Crop & Convert
File to file image conversion (eg. raw->TIFF with scaling and cropping).
- Electron Diffraction Tools (EDIF)
- File Info Mac system
information about files. TIFF file header contents.
- HTML editor
- Image Formats - separate widget for each file format (RAE, RAS, JEOL, GATAN,
etc.)
- PCA - Principal Component Analysis
- PDF X-ray Powder
Diffraction File database searching. (See DSB for this widget.)
- Registration or 'survey'. Finds points
in one image corresponding to points in reference image. Allows for rotation
and scale change.
