Upcoming Regional Forums

NIST MEP's three regional forums for the Round 4 State Competition will take place in Washington, DC, Denver, CO and Chicago, IL. Below is logistical information on each of the forums. You may also view the Announcement of Regional Forums for the Upcoming Federal Funding Opportunity.

If you are interested in registering for one or more of the regional forums, please email You must register at least one week prior to each regional forum to ensure access through security and sign-up for a one-on-one session. When registering please specify your first and last name, your organization, names of any other individuals attending with you, which regional forum you are attending, and if you are interested in scheduling time for a one-on-one meeting.

Public Transportation: The Federal Triangle Metro Station (orange/blue/silver lines) is located on-site, and is connected to the building by covered passageway. The Metro Center Metro Station (red line) is located just two blocks away.

Security: Will need to enter through security and show photo ID
Parking: There is no onsite public parking, but there is metered parking on the street, a lot to the north, and parking structures to the southwest and southeast.
Public Transportation: RTD buses stop at the corner of 19th and Stout, and the LightRail picks up just across the street on the Stout Street side of the Byron White Court House.  If you are staying downtown, the 16th Street Mall shuttle is free of charge, and a 3-block walk brings you to the Byron Rogers FOB.  Downtown Denver is fairly walkable.

By May, the new rail service from Union Station to Denver International Airport will have opened.  There is already an RTD bus that provides service from DIA to several stops in downtown Denver.

Concessions: There is a food court on the second floor and coffee shop on the main floor.
Security: Anyone without government ID has to go through security screening in the lobby.
Parking: There is no parking in the building. For more information on nearby parking.   
Public Transportation: 2 stations within one block walk, one goes under the JCK federal building, the other is the elevated train right behind the Metcalfe.

The Elevated train or the "El", here are some of the lines — Red Line stop is Jackson; Blue Line (Ohare airport) stop is Jackson; Orange Line (goes to Midway) stop is Lasalle & Van Buren
