Mickey C. Richardson, Ph.D.

Research Interests

Preparation and functionalization of anion and cation exchanging clays for the fabrication of epoxy-based nanocomposites. Focus is on the degree of dispersion and interfacial adhesion, and their consequent enhancements in both mechanical strength and thermal stability. Functionalization of carbon nanotubes and fullerenes for the fabrication of epoxy-based nanocomposites for thermal and electrical conductivity measurements.
