The group is recognized for exceptional leadership and innovation in the design of manufacturing assembly task boards and development of the annual Robotic Grasping and Manipulation Competition. These advances challenge industrial robots to complete difficult tasks faced by the manufacturing industry, including small and medium-sized manufacturers.
