Next week, join NIST and our collaborators via the free live webcast for the Measurement Science and Standards in Forensic Handwriting Analysis Conference and facilitated discussion! This event on June 4 and 5, 2013, features two full days of presentations from and interactions with the leading scientists and statisticians in the field of forensic handwriting analysis, covering topics such as:

  • The foundational science behind handwriting
  • Reproducibility and reliability of forensic results
  • Recent advances in handwriting analysis measurement science and statistics
  • Legal implications of handwriting testimony

Anyone involved in forensic document examination and research, measurement science, and statistics, from the private sector to government, can benefit from the presentations and discussions about integrating more quantitative analysis tools into the examination process.
