Robin Bunch is an Electrical Engineer in the Technology Partnerships Office (TPO) at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Ms. Bunch promotes the array of NIST research products and services to the scientific and engineering communities. Robin specializes in facilitating the transfer of federally-developed inventions and applications from lab to market.
Prior to joining TPO as a senior project manager, Robin worked as a Peace Corps volunteer in Swaziland and as a math and physics high school teacher. Robin then spent 12 years working as a physical scientist at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and four years at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services as a Supervisory Grants Officer in the Administration for Children and Families. In 2014 Ms. Bunch came to NIST as Division Chief of the Grants Management Division.
Robin holds an M.S. in electrical engineering from Howard University, an M.S. in public health from the University of Maryland in College Park, and a B.S. in electrical engineering from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical University.
