Greg Driver maintains and disseminates the national measurement standards for pressure. He is an expert on piston gauge standards, and he is responsible for the piston gauge pressure calibration service. He has trained personnel in the safe operation and calibration procedures of pneumatic and hydraulic operated piston gauges, bourdon gauges, and pressure transducers.
Greg has served on national and international technical and standards organizations and committees and has been directly involved with key comparisons with other NMIs, both nationally and internationally. He is a member of the Deadweight Pressure Gauge Committee of the NCSLI. He has presented invited papers at national pressure symposia and has co-authored numerous papers. He also contributes he knowledge and expertise to the NIST vacuum calibration services.
