Handbook 130 - Price Verification

This 2-day seminar is designed so that participants will be able to understand and apply price verification procedures.

Learning Objectives:

At the end of this learning event, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the background and history of why and how the Examination Procedure Outline (EPO) on Price Verification was developed
  • Explain the EPO test procedures, documentation of findings and evaluation of inspection results 
  • Demonstrate and apply the EPO in a field setting

Prerequisite(s):

There are no prerequisites for this seminar.

Minimum Requirement(s):

Students must be registered in the OWM Contacts System, be in attendance for the entire class, successfully complete assignments and successfully pass a final assessment. Students who do not fulfill these requirements will not receive a certificate of completion.

Audience:

This learning event is for State Weights and Measures officials and is by invitation only.

Cost:

There is no registration fee for this learning event. However, participants are responsible for their travel costs.
