This 3-day training session will cover various aspects of being an effective trainer.

Learning Objectives:

Using notes and resources provided in this session, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the components associated with becoming an ANSI/IACET Authorized Provider;
  • Discuss and share examples of how compliance can be achieved;
  • Pursue ANSI/IACET compliance in their own organizations; and
  • Help the weights and measures community develop and maintain excellent training programs.

Technology Requirement(s):

Laptop with wireless capability. Additional tools that will be used in the participant-developed activities as needed.

Materials & Supplies:

Flip Charts, projector to be provided. Supplies will include printing/copying participant-developed activity handouts, notecards, post-it notes, markers, other teaching resources.

Prerequisite(s):

Attendance at an Adobe Connect Pro webinar session is part of the required pre-work.

Minimum Requirement(s):

Pre-work reading; pre-work development of applicable activity for session; 100% attendance; sharing activity with other participants; peer evaluation of other participant activities.
