Note to all NIST Visitors*:
If you plan to attend a NIST conference, please note that all attendees must be pre-registered. Photo identification* and vehicle registration information must be presented at the main gate to be admitted to the conference. International attendees are required to present a passport. Attendees must wear their conference badge at all times while on the campus. For information on registering for specific conferences, please visit our conference page.
Site Access for Visitors with Disabilities
NIST visitors and conference attendees with disabilities are able to remain in their vehicles for the clearance process rather than having to exit their vehicles. In Gaithersburg, these visitors should access the site using Gate F. Gate F is located on Muddy Branch Dr. between West Side Drive and Palmspring Dr. In Boulder, access will be via the main front gate and visitors should coordinate with their NIST sponsor.
