The award includes a financial award, invitation to present a talk, and an invitation to contribute a short article describing Babakhanova’s work to be published in “Liquid Crystals Today.”
The Glenn H. Brown Prize awards doctoral students whose PhD theses demonstrate an outstanding contribution to the science of liquid crystals. The aim of ILCS is to unite scientists, engineers and students working in the broad field of fundamental and applied aspects of different liquid crystal systems, including thermotropic, lyotropic, polymer and polymer-modified liquid crystals.
