Time Magazine Recognizes NIST ITL Associate Director of Emerging Technologies, Elham Tabassi, as one of the 100 most influential people in AI
On September 7, 2023, TIME magazine included Tabassi, Associate Director of Emerging Technologies in NIST’s Information Technology Laboratory, on its list of the 100 most influential people in AI.
She is cited as among the top leaders, innovators, shapers, and thinkers transforming and developing AI. Tabassi is singled out for her work to develop trustworthy and responsible AI systems and her leadership in developing NIST’s AI Risk Management Framework (AI RMF 1.0) released in January 2023. The AI RMF has been praised widely by organizations in the private and public sectors.
