NIST Expands Collaboration at RSA Conference 2022

It was an exciting week attending the RSA Conference 2022 in San Francisco, CA. From June 6-9, thousands of attendees gathered to view presentations, visit booths on the expo floor, and network with other industry professionals. The high-level cybersecurity event attracts top organizations and leading experts, playing an integral role in connecting and educating cybersecurity professionals worldwide of the latest trends. Each year, our NIST engineers attend the conference to network with other experts and present on a wide range of cybersecurity topics.

Throughout the conference, we presented nine sessions, covering topics from zero trust architecture and supply chain assurance to AI, IoT, and post-quantum cryptography. Our presentations included the following titles:

  • Validating the Integrity of Computing Devices
  • Inside the Making of a Zero Trust Architecture
  • Measuring the Difference: Metric Development at NCCoE’s Securing AI Testbed
  • New Guidelines for Enhancing Software Supply Chain Security Under EO 14028
  • Caterpillars to Butterflies: Transforming the Privacy Workforce
  • Users Are Not Stupid: Eight Cybersecurity Pitfalls Overturned
  • Put a Label on it! Protecting IoT by Empowering Consumers
  • Protecting Against Evolving Threats to Global Shipping Infrastructure
  • Time is Running Out: Post Quantum Cryptography Call to Action SAFECode/NIST

Throughout the week, our presentations and speaking engagements attracted attention from a range of audiences at the conference. Between Q&A sessions and the conversations that followed each speaking engagement, many RSA attendees showed interest in collaborating with NIST. Our communities of interest expanded throughout the week as more cybersecurity professionals expressed their desire to participate and engage in our work.
