Denis Bergeron is a research chemist at NIST whose work on methods for measuring the becquerel, the international unit of measurement for radioactivity, has applications in quantitative medical imaging. He served as executive secretary for the President’s National Science and Technology Council’s Interagency Working Group on Medical Imaging.
