Scott Weaver

Scott Weaver is the director of the National Windstorm Impact Reduction Program (NWIRP) at NIST. Prior to coming to NIST, Scott was the senior climate scientist for the Environmental Defense Fund, and he spent eight years as a research meteorologist for NASA and NOAA. He is also an adjunct associate professor in the Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Science at the University of Maryland.
