View Video
The view task includes the display function and may include a built-in coding/decoding (CODEC), which can perform the processing function’s decoding operation. However, in some video systems, such as those used for surveillance applications, the decode operation might be performed in a separate information technology (IT) space.
In Example 1 and 2, the view task, or play-back system, includes the decode operation, which is part of the processing function. But other examples might instead include the decode operation in the deliver task and stream video to the view task.
