Roof Tilted Array
The ballasted PV rooftop array consisting of 312 modules with a rated power output of 73.3 kW DC is installed on Building 101 of the NIST campus. Modules are positioned to avoid existing roof penetrations. Each individual ballasted rack secures the module in a portrait orientation at a south-facing, fixed tilt of 10 degrees. The horizontal spacing between each row of modules is 0.76 m (30 inches). Four circuits feed the single indoor inverter. Each monocrystalline silicon module has a rated power of 235 W and a rated efficiency of 14.4 %.
