OSAC Public Comments

Since OSAC has its own public comment process, any document submitted to OSAC will utilize the OSAC public comment process and will not use the IEG public comment process.  See

Instructions for Commenting on IEG documents

  • This only applies to IEG documents, not OSAC.
  • Any comments/questions about this website should be sent to IEG-II [at] nist.gov (IEG-II[at]nist[dot]gov) 
  • All comments regarding the documents below should be sent to IEG-PublicComments [at] nist.gov (IEG-PublicComments[at]nist[dot]gov) .
  • Documents are posted as pdf’s, with page and line numbers.  Each document will have a comment period during which comments may be made.  The document will be removed when the comment period expires. 
  • To make a comment on a document:
    • Send an email to IEG-PublicComments [at] nist.gov (IEG-PublicComments[at]nist[dot]gov) with the name of the document in the subject
    • In the body you may request that your comments are anonymous – your name/affiliation will not be included in any public summary of the comments.
    • Use the page and line numbers in the pdf to reference the portion of the document that you are commenting on.
    • Comments that appear to come from spam-like addresses may be ignored by automatic filters.
