The mission of the Visualization and Usability Group is to champion the human in information technology. Our work focuses on listening to, understanding, and amplifying the voices of the users of information technology, whose use of technology is impacted by their characteristics, context, needs, requirements, and tasks. In this talk, an overview of our research programs will be provided, including public safety communications, usable cybersecurity, biometric usability, and AI usability. An in-depth look at our phishing research will also be discussed.
