This Presolicitation Conference is an event held by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Acquisition Management Division (AMD) and Public Safety Communications Research (PSCR) Division to present the plans for current and future procurements to representatives from industry.
This event will be held on May 3, 2018 at the NIST Boulder, CO campus. Per FBO notice number SB1341-18-DRFP-0007, NIST has posted Draft Request for Quotation (RFQ) documents in advance of the event, offering potential interested parties to review and provide comments/questions on the anticipated solicitation.
This event is an opportunity for the government to expresses its goals and provide details on the anticipated acquisition, and an opportunity for potential interested vendors to network and explore teaming opportunities. This event is also designed to provide NIST a forum to respond to interested parties’ questions regarding the Draft RFQ (which must be submitted prior to April 20, 2018 at 11:59pm Eastern, as described in the FBO Notice).

Attendance at the Industry Posters and Partnering Session is optional, if there are fewer than 20 participants that express interest the session will be cancelled. Please consider if you are able to participate in the Industry Posters and Partnering Session and indicate your commitment to attend and display your poster in your registration. If you are unable to attend, but would like to include a poster at the session, we will be able to digitally include your poster on a monitor at the event. You can send you final poster to psprizes [at] nist.gov (psprizes[at]nist[dot]gov) and we will ensure your poster is included in the session.
Recommendations for the Industry Poster and Partnering Session:
Include your organization’s name, brand, logo, capabilities, accomplishments, and other related information. If possible bring two team members to cover the poster and walk around the event, and trade off responsibilities to increase the opportunity of meeting potential partners. Posters should be no larger than 36 x 48 inches and able to be pinned, tapped or attached to poster board.
