It uses NISTIR 6969, GMP 11, and GMP 13 as the baseline for instructions and also covers the policies used by accreditation bodies. This course will also provide preview or review information for similar content covered in the Fundamentals of Metrology seminar.

Laboratory metrology staff who are new to metrology and would like an overview of the kinds of documents they should have to support evidence of traceability. This session is also useful for assessors/auditors who need to conduct audits or internal audits to review the kinds of information they should look for to support metrological traceability. The session would also be useful for metrology staff who will be conducting on-the-job-training for new staff members.
The current registration fee for webinars is $350, and participants will be sent payment instructions when their training request is confirmed. Registration fees for State weights and measures metrologists are funded by NIST OWM.
