DIRECTIONS:

The National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE) is located at 9700 Great Seneca Highway, Rockville, MD 20850.

 Directions to the NCCoE from Interstate 270 North:

  • Take Exit 6B for Maryland 28/W Montgomery Ave toward Poolesville/Darnestown
  • Merge onto W Montgomery Ave
  • Turn left onto Darnestown Rd
  • Turn right onto Great Seneca Highway
  • Take the first left to arrive at the NCCoE, which will be on your left.

 Visitors can park in the front of the building. Additional parking can be found on the west side of the building.

Public transportation: the nearest Metro stop is Shady Grove on the Red line which is 4.7 miles from the NCCOE. Then either take the 56 bus or call for a taxi/Uber/Lyft.

The preferred hotel that is near to the National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE) is the Courtyard Gaithersburg Washingtonian Center. A limited block of discounted rooms will be available at a prevailing government rate of $258/night (room rate does not include tax or any applicable fees). The hotel will be providing a free shuttle service to and from the NCCoE. Additionally, the hotel is located in the Rio Washingtonian Center with shopping and restaurant options.

Note: Your conference registration fee will cover breakfasts, lunches, and beverages (coffee, tea, and soda) throughout the event.

Building Access & Security

All conference attendees will be required to sign in with security and show an accepted form of I.D.

  • Effective May 7, 2025, agencies can only accept a state-issued driver’s license or identification card from states that are compliant with or have an exemption for the REAL ID Act.  See the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) site to confirm if your ID is compliant
  • NIST also accepts other forms of federally issued identification in lieu of a state-issued driver's license, such as a valid passport, passport card, DOD's Common Access Card (CAC), Veterans ID, Federal Agency HSPD-12 IDs, and Military Dependents ID.

 Foreign nationals must present a valid passport (original only) or alien registration card (green card) upon arrival.
