The recently revised Workforce Framework for Cybersecurity (NICE Framework) introduces Competencies as a mechanism for organizations to assess learners’ Knowledge and Skills and capability to perform Tasks. For instance, an employer looking to fulfill specific organizational goals may use Competencies as part of the hiring process; education and training providers may use Competencies to determine whether a learner has achieved a defined set of Knowledge and Skills or to develop and evaluate competency-based curriculum. This webinar will describe a learner-centered approach to Competencies that is employer-driven and how assessments can be used to observe and measure learner capabilities.
