NICE Director Participates as Witness During U.S. House of Representatives Homeland Security Committee Hearing
Rodney Petersen, the Director of NICE and Interim Chief of the Applied Cybersecurity Division at NIST, participated as a witness during the recent U.S. House of Representatives Homeland Security Committee hearing, “Finding 500,000: Addressing America’s Cyber Workforce Gap”. Rodney shared information on NIST’s efforts to energize and promote a robust network and ecosystem of cybersecurity education, training, and workforce development through the NICE program. Other topics highlighted include the Regional Alliances and Multistakeholder Partnerships to Stimulate (RAMPS) Cybersecurity education and workforce development grants, the CyberSeek.org website, and the NICE Working Groups.
