The Office of Weights and Measures (OWM) Contacts System customer portal is open for business. NIST OWM officially launched the new online portal for the OWM Contacts System on September 3, 2024. The new portal is the primary hub for requesting OWM products and services, including OWM publications, training classes, and full access to your training history.
New Landing Page
We are excited to offer this redesigned interface for our customers.
The redesigned OWM Contacts System interface replicates the familiar online "shopping experience" where a customer can "order" OWM products and services. Customers can browse/view available classes and publications without registering for an account. However, they must establish an account before they can request a class or order a product. Requesting OWM products and services has never been easier than using the new OWM Contacts System portals.
New Features and Tools
Users can now reset their password in real time. Once logged in, you can check the status of upcoming training, past training, pending, and prior product orders. If you had an account in the previous system, your training history and contact information have been transferred to the new portal and are available once you register for your new account. Please review your information and update it as necessary. Have you bookmarked the OWM Contact System? The old URL will automatically redirect users to the new landing webpage.
Customers will enjoy these features:
- Create an account and reset passwords;
- How to Register for an Account.
- Once you have created your password, you will be asked to select your “areas of interest” to complete the registration process. (Note: Your email address will be your username.)
- Browse, discover, select, and request a scheduled class or request a course that is currently not scheduled;
- Manage attendance requests and see an event registration status;
- View your training history; and
- Download training certificates (for events completed between FY2021 to the present).
- View available products, request a publication, and monitor an order status.
