2016 Safety Award

Mr. Gilmore is recognized for continuously being an exemplary and genuine leader and champion in the promotion and reinforcement of the importance of the OFPM Safety Vision of “Everyone Home Safe Everyday.”  His leadership in regard to safety has been instrumental in establishing a new awareness of safety not only among his staff in the Facilities Improvement Group and OFPM but also among anyone that he meets.  He is perpetually analyzing situations to determine if there are safety hazards, and if there are, the best way to mitigate them, whether with engineering controls procedures or protective equipment.  He is genuinely concerned about everyone’s safety.  He is a true leader and example to all in regard to safety.
