2018 George A. Uriano Award

Ms. DesChamps is recognized for her commitment, timeliness, accuracy and fortitude in providing exceptional service to support the mission of NIST and the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program. She has set the gold standard for providing customer and administrative services for key Baldrige programs, including the Baldrige Executive Fellows Program, Baldrige Examiner Training Course, Baldrige Examiner Training Experience Program, and Quest for Excellence Conference. She also serves as the OU safety rep, and the supervisor over all OU-wide support services. She has saved a significant amount of resources in both time and money because of her outstanding leadership, management and organizational skills. DesChamps has consistently earned the respect of her colleagues, external stakeholders, and the 500-plus volunteers of the Baldrige Program.
