The group is recognized for the development of high-pressure reference isotherms of nanoscale porous adsorbents. Key sources of measurement uncertainty for high-pressure adsorption measurements were identified and best practices for these measurements were established. The group’s pioneering research has led—for the first time—to standard measurement protocols and reference data that are essential to gas processing technologies and are relevant to national priorities in climate science and energy production.
