The team is recognized for the rigorous review, editing, and production of an 18-paper special section of the NIST Journal of Research focused on ultraviolet technologies for public health, hospital-acquired infections, and coronavirus mitigation. The articles have been so influential that the International Ultraviolet Association decided to reprint the collection as a book in 2022. The team contributed to NIST’s mission by disseminating research accomplishments and measurement methodology in a record number of 40 other research, dataset, software, and tutorial articles in 2021-2022.
