Dr. Welsh is recognized for her exceptional leadership and project management of two secretary of commerce-level workforce initiatives, the Pledge to America's Workers Presidential Award and the Job Quality Toolkit. In addition to her leadership, both required extensive stakeholder engagement with high-level administration and industry representatives; in-depth research into leading-edge practices; and the design, development, and implementation of an innovative offering that met the needs and expectations of key officials from the Department of Commerce, Department of Labor, and the White House.
