Michael Fagan joined the Trusted Identities Group at the National Institute of Standards and Technology to develop and execute research into user-factors and usability of current digital identity solutions. Active in academic computer science for over 7 years, his expertise lies in the field of usable security, which represents the intersection of cybersecurity and psychology. He earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Connecticut in December of 2017, and earlier a B.A. in History and Computer Science from Vanderbilt University in 2011.
