The official start for Phase II of the NIST Transactive Energy Challenge is a webinar meeting to be held April 20, 1:00 - 2:30 pm ET. The meeting will provide an overview of Phase II plans, presentations of the NIST Abstract Component Model that can aid in TE simulation interoperability, and presentation of a strawman TE Challenge Scenario that participants will be asked to include in their simulation efforts as a way to compare results. After the Launch will be a period of team building and refinement of the TE Challenge Scenario before simulation activities begin. More information on the TE Challenge can be found on the NIST TE Challenge site and the TE Challenge Collaboration site.
