AFUEBF Program

CALCULATION OF ANNUAL FUEL UTILIZATION EFFICIENCY OF RESIDENTIAL CENTRAL FURNACES AND BOILERS

The AFUEBF program available at this website can be used to calculate the annual fuel utilization efficiency (AFUE) of residential central furnaces and boilers in conjunction with ASHRAE Standard 103: “Method of Testing for Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency of Residential Central Furnaces and Boilers.”

Information on the use of this program can be found in the file entitled “afuebf.txt.” The executable file to compute the AFUE is entitled “afuebf50.exe.”

NIST is no longer modifying this program and is unable to provide any technical support at this time.
