Erica Stein is currently a research biologist in NIST's Biosystems and Biomaterials Division. Erica received a B.S. in cellular and developmental biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and earned her Ph.D. in microbiology and immunology from The George Washington University, in partnership with the National Institutes of Health. Among the other things that Erica loves about her hometown of Buffalo, New York, are their NHL hockey team, the Buffalo Sabres, skiing, beef on weck, sponge candy, and Fish Fry Fridays.
