Community Engagement

The Office of Data and Informatics is actively engaged in national and international communities to foster high integrity science,  interoperability,   and common understanding for the usage of data in driving forward the NIST mission.    ODI staff participate in leadership roles and strive to deliver exemplar resources to the NIST community which spans the globe.    This listing includes some of the key organizations ODI is involved with:

• Research Data Alliance (RDA)
• Department of Commerce and other federal agencies (NIH, DOE, NSF)
• CENDI - (the Commerce, Energy, NASA, Defense Information Managers Group)
• National Metrology Institutes (NMIs) and Bureau International des Poids et Mesures (BIPM)
