The construction of the European Spallation Source is well underway and the first tests have been made of accelerator equipment. This talk will show the current status of the project and also discuss the plans for, and status of, the Large Scale Structures instruments. Large Scale Structures accounts for 5 of the first 15 instruments, with two SANS instruments, two Reflectometers, and one Macromolecular Crystallography instrument.
