NIST will hold a series of regional workshops to explore the diversity of smart grid testbed capabilities, and ways to develop a collaborative environment across these facilities through sharing information, leveraging resources, scaling experiments, and other forms of cooperation. The workshops will consist of a half-day session on the NIST testbed project where we briefly present the testbed then listen to the viewpoints of stakeholders, followed by a half-day of presentations and discussions from other testbed facilities in the region. These workshops are designed for stakeholders in the smart grid community and are open to the public.
