Anna Sberegaeva (Fed)

Dr. Anna Sberegaeva is the Associate Director for Science and Technology Planning and Coordination in the Program Coordination Office, the Office of the Under Secretary of Commerce for Standards and Technology and NIST Director. In this role she supports various activities related to strategic planning, performance evaluation, and program analysis, working closely with leadership from all NIST organizations across Laboratory Programs, Innovation and Industry Services, and Management Resources. 

Before joining NIST, Anna held a position of Associate Program Officer at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine on the Board of Chemical Sciences and Technology and the Board of Health Sciences Policy, where she was responsible for developing and managing project strategy and budget. 

Anna was an American Society for Engineering Education postdoctoral fellow at the Naval Research Laboratory. She received her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Maryland College Park.
