"Reference Materials for MS-based Untargeted Metabolomics and Lipidomics: A Review by the Metabolomics Quality Assurance and Quality Control Consortium (mQACC)", Metabolomics volume 18, Article number: 24 (2022), was recently awarded the 2023 Best Review Award from the journal Metabolomics and was also chosen for the cover of the Awards issue. This extensive review article was an original contribution by the Quality Assurance and Quality Control Consortium (mQACC) members, which included several NIST authors (alphabetically; Clay Davis, Goncalo Gouveia, Christina Jones, Katrice Lippa, and Tracey Schock) and highlights current RMs, and methodologies used within untargeted metabolomics and lipidomics communities to ensure standardization of results, interpretation, and cross-study / cross-laboratory comparisons.
