Upcoming ANSI Brainstorming Session for Critical and Emerging Technologies: Enabling Automated and Connected Infrastructure Through Public-Private Partnerships

American National Standards Institute (ANSI) is hosting two separate brainstorming sessions in July 2024 to explore challenges and opportunities related to critical and emerging technologies (CET).

  • The first event, Enabling Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Through Public-Private Partnerships, will take place on July 17, 2024, from 9:00 AM ET to 5:00 PM ET in Arlington, Virginia. Remote participation will be offered. Registration is required
    • This session will focus on specific challenges related to artificial intelligence (AI)/machine learning (ML) and explore the use of public-private partnerships (PPPs) in implementing the U.S. Government National Standards Strategy for Critical and Emerging Technology (USG NSSCET).
  • The second event, Enabling Automated and Connected Infrastructure Through Public-Private Partnerships, will take place on July 30, 2024, from 9:00 AM ET to 5:00 PM ET in Dearborn, Michigan. Remote participation will be offered. Registration is required

    • This session will focus on specific opportunities and challenges related to automated and connected infrastructure and explore using public-private partnerships (PPPs) to share information and identify priority standards development activities.

ANSI’s efforts are backed by a grant from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to support the implementation of the USG NSSCET.
