Every five years, NIST OWM gears up to host a Combined Regional Measurement Assurance Program (C-RMAP) training event with a state host with all six RMAP regions in attendance at once. The 2025 C-RMAP will be held in Portland, Oregon, on June 1 – 5, 2025, with the Oregon Department of Agriculture and Director Steve Harrington as the host.
OWM just wrapped up a successful 2024 series of individual RMAPs across the six U.S. RMAP geographical areas and is excited to bring together all the state metrology laboratories and metrology industries for a full week of training and knowledge exchange.
Training topics for the 2025 C-RMAP are based on state-requested training needs, past laboratory assessments (including submitted annual recognition data), and reviews of recent proficiency testing results. OWM staff will provide overviews of What’s New in the state laboratory program.
With the participation of several technical experts across NIST and the state metrology laboratories, over 15 different technical sessions (many concurrent) will be provided during the five-day event. This includes (but is not limited to):
Given that many will be held concurrently, technical sessions will be repeated to help facilitate attendance. Breakout Round Table sessions for each RMAP group will also be held to allow for future PT review and planning.
Please review the C-RMAP Events page for more information on registration fees, technology requirements, and the full agenda. If you have any questions about the 2025 C-RMAP event or any of the individual training sessions, please contact Mike Hicks (micheal.hicks [at] nist.gov (micheal[dot]hicks[at]nist[dot]gov)).
