Office of International Affairs

NIST’s research has a global impact. We are part of the global measurement community. NIST’s Office of International Affairs facilitates NIST’s international engagement. 

Some of our roles include:  

  • Coordinating visits of international delegations to NIST 
  • Managing Foreign National Associate appointments
  • Advising on international policy 
  • Facilitating NIST relationships with international partners 
  • Coordinating with other government agencies on science and tech programs  
  • Assist NIST employees traveling internationally
