The Baldrige Examiner Training Experience - A Unique Professional Development Opportunity

The Baldrige Performance Excellence Program is offering a limited number of seats in its 2016 examiner preparation course for a fee through its Baldrige Examiner Training Experience (BETE) program. So you can learn the same methods and techniques used by examiners and network directly with the examiners and Baldrige staff members throughout the training week, without ever having to serve as an examiner.

The BETE is a highly interactive training experience in which you will learn how to use the Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence to

• evaluate an organization's processes,
• evaluate an organization's results, and
• write actionable feedback that can help any organization improve.

This is accomplished as you work in groups to evaluate a fictitious organization's responses to the Baldrige Criteria. This case study approach provides a hands-on, award winning learning opportunity that you don't want to miss.

In 2014 and 2015, the Baldrige Program received the first place award in the government and military category of the Leadership 500 Excellence Awards, an annual recognition of the world's best leadership development programs and initiatives. The honor for 2015 was announced on March 31, 2015—World Leadership Day.

In 2016, the training is being offered the following weeks at the Baldrige Program's headquarters in Gaithersburg, MD:

• April 26—April 29
• May 3—May 6
• May 10—May 13

You can choose the week that best fits your schedule, but do not delay in registering because seats are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Registration deadlines are March 4, 2016 for international attendees; April 1, 2016 for U.S. domestic attendees.
